Title: Help with build date?

Hi guys; I'm confused about the build date of my car. The cowl tag  says 07A, but the vin is 124379N607452.  Based on the CRG info, the cowl tag says the build date is 1st week July 69, but the vin would suggest feb to march build date.
Which part of this information am I not understanding right?

You are correct, so either the Trim Tag has been swapped, or the VIN has been swapped.

Now you need to do some detective work.

First, check the HIDDEN VIN (http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml#PartialVIN) locations and see if they match the VIN on the dash.

Second, Post a picture of the VIN and the Trim Tag so we can see if one or the other (or both) have been off the car.

Just a little information.  I know it won't help you but I have an  07 A  build date  like you and my VIN is  667804. According to your VIN 607452  they had to build  60,352 cars in July.  I am not saying it's impossible but to me thats a lot of cars.  Hope you have luck with your search.

That VIN came off the line one day after mine, which was built on February 27th and shipped on the 28th. Have you checked the hidden VIN yet on the passenger side of the cowl, below the vent grille?

Thanks for the responses; I haven't had a chance to look yet, but I guess it's got the wrong tag on it.
The car's not here at the moment, but as soon as I get a chance to check it out, I will.

OK Guys, mystery solved.....MY GOOF!! Vin number is 667452 not 607452! ( Car was not with me when question asked.) This now works, I think!
