Title: Convertible Header Molding Question
Post by: GSD5 on October 20, 2009, 06:06:51 PM
Hello...in the process of changing the chrome header moldings at the windshield of my '67 convertible. It almost seems as if it would be a good idea to use some kind of adhesive on the underrside of the weatherstripping to hold it down better....anyone have any experience or opinion on that?

Thanks

??  The header moldings dont use weatherstrip, just a litte dum-dum putty to seal the edge.  Believe me, once you get one installed, they are not coming off! The screws are just an after thought :)
