Title: 68 SS 350 alternator pully?
Post by: gro51 on September 27, 2009, 03:54:49 PM
Did '68 SS 350 use the same deep groove alternator pully as the Z/28?

No. Only solid lifter cars got the deep-groove pulleys.

Did I miss something in that spreadsheet Kurt?  I was going to give him an answer, but I couldn't find any pulley's under that spreadsheet.  It seemed to only list L6 and Z28 #'s.  The rest were left blank?

It's the standard pulley that was used for years on most applications.
It should be listed there, but it's not. I'll dig on this when I get a chance.....

Didn't mean to create work for you.  I usually don't get enough time on here to really research some of the topics and thought I missed something.

I have three 1100794 alternators and all have the standard pulley with a 7 stamped on the front.
