I have a 69 Camaro that came with the K85 option. Can anyone tell me the correct part # for that alternator????Thanks
-
My 69 AIM says 1100847 with out air and 1100846 with air.

Yup, the 1969 Chassis Service Manual states the same thing... "All RPO K-85 w/ A.C. = 1100846".
Also, the CRG RPO spreadsheet states RPO K85 was not available with L6 w/ N40, L78, or Z28.

Gotta ask - what doc do you have that shows K85? It would only appear on a window sticker or such.
Not a common alternator....

Is this for the silver 327 car that you had/have?

It is for the orange/orange 33 option 396/350 car.I am now getting different opinions on the part # for this alternator. Some are saying it should be 849.I have been told this option was also available on Chevelles and police cars.Do you know for sure what part # I need. Thanks
