Title: '69 manual steering rebuild
Post by: evilzee28 on August 21, 2009, 11:46:53 AM
I finally got to drive my '69 yesterday after a 5 year rebuild, but found that the steering was still a bit vague even after adjusting out the wear. Is it possible to get a full rebuild kit for a Saginaw manual steering box & if so, where is the best place to get it?? I've searched the net without any success, the down side is that I live in Britain so I can't just pop to my local speedshop, Cheers.....Nige

Nige -

Heartbeat City sells the rebuild kit...  http://store.heartbeatcity.net/store/product/21549/Manual-steering-box-rebuild/

Unfortunately, it's on back order at the moment.
