I am getting ready to spray the black on my rockers. I was wondering if the black wrapped around to the inside of the lower door or just to the flange? Any pics would be great.

Dave posted good pics in this thread, page 3. Masking precision and consistency was not practiced on these cars. http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=2458.30

I do not believe that RS rockers were Blacked out, They had Chrome trim instead. The SS's had blackout.
Maybe someone else will confirm

Thanks for the help, It is a 68 by the way. I was able to dig my original doors out and scrape some layers of paint to get to the original gold and black tape line, it did not continue to the inside of the door. So I am going to copy from that. Now what do you think , semi or gloss, I am leaning toward the semi-black. From reading other posts it seems that is the original sheen???

Sorry, my bad, it is MY RS (Madeira Maroon) that was an exception and did not get the blackout sills.

I have a 67 RS/SS 350, butternut yellow with black vynl top. I have same question on rocker black out start/stop at the front fender and rear quarter wheel opening. Does anyone have any pics on those details??? I'm ready to paint but need to know the start/stop details. Thanks
