Title: 1968 Auto 350 Stove Pipe
Post by: Oregonjam on July 20, 2009, 02:13:25 PM
Does any one have a stove pipe they can compare this one to that will confirm that this is correct for this application?

What was the original finish on this part?

Thanks for your help.

I came across two. The first one is in the first post the second is in this one. This does not have a hole in it on one end and has been repainted. Not sure if a hole is correct or not but the two Ihave posted are different from one another. Are either of these correct?

Any feedback? I wish there was a  parts refrence someweher with good pix, but that would be too easy.

Thank you for the assistance guys. I will use the pix to assist in finding a heat stove

The heat pipe arrived today. It is exactly as pictured by wagoonman, only it appears to have never been used, painted, or blasted. It is a bare steel part .

Were the heat pipes always painted black at the factory?
Just wondering why it would appear this way and what is correct. I planned on painting to match the air cleaner.

Thanks again... getting closer.

Yes, they were - they were dip-primed black just like all the brackets, etc.

I located the correct heat stove, with a lot of luck.

What finish did the Heat Stove have from the factory?
