in 68 does all muncie trans born with cars get the vins stamp in them.have you seen them without ::)

here is what jerry told me.  my trans has no vin on it but he said it was probably the original trans.  what if the stamped one got dropped and broken they did not stop the assembly line they simply put in a backup with no vin.
that made sense to me.

"Always" and "never" seem to be bad words to use in the assembly process for these cars.
