Title: 67 CAMARO POWER STEERING PUMP
Post by: SSMUNDY on July 08, 2009, 03:25:04 AM
I am repainting the power steering pump off of my 1967 Camaro SS. Can someone tell me is the cap painted, or bare metal? Is the pump housing gloss, or low gloss black? Is the pump itself (the cast iron portion) painted or bare metal?
Thanks,
Sean

39 views and nobody? I know the jury is out on the cap finish. But I'm almost sure the housing is gloss black. The one thing I'm uncertain of is the color of the pump itself (the cast iron portion). Where is JohnZ?

I"ve already read that thread. That's great for the cap, and as I said "the jury is still out on the cap finish". I am really wondering if the pump itself(not the housing) ,is  black or natural (bare metal) color?
