Title: 1968 seat back stop cable
Post by: joesauer on July 03, 2009, 04:05:07 PM
Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement seat back stop cable and cable to cushion screw?  This is the cable on the passenger side bucket seat .  I have the upper cable attaching screw.  Also, wondered what brand, & paint color # is preferred when respraying a black SS grill (non RS). Thanks.

You have to make one unless you find one, no longer made.
It's a astic coated braided wire about 5-6 inches long with crimped eyelets for the hold down screws.  Can send you pic and measurements if needed.

Thanks for the help.  Looks like I'll be making one myself.

These are on ebay quite often although nothing available at this time. If you want an original, keep checking. They usually go for over $20.00.
