Title: 69 VIN "A" in Reg, but "N" in Body VIN?
Post by: r69xcape on May 27, 2009, 01:46:50 AM
Does anybody have any idea why my registration vin contains the letter A, yet my body Vin tag clearly states the letter N?  Could this just have been a mistake made by DMV sometime ago, or is there something else wrong? The car is a 1969 Z28 clone.

Typo by the DMV or insurance company most likely.

typo by the dmv. I've had that happen to me with three different cars i've owned. I ALWAYS get photocopies of any car i buy so i could prove in each of these three cases that it was the dmv's fault.
