Title: White vinyl top on hugger Z
Post by: madmax87 on April 21, 2009, 03:22:43 PM
Just joined the site but have been a fan for many years. Been a member of Team Camaro for years. Anyway, are there any numbers of how many 69 Z were made in Hugger Orange and a white vinyl top. I can't even find a pic of one. My Z has been painted red for many years and missing the vinyl top.
Thanks

This will help, but it won't give you exactly what you're looking for:

I don't think there's any way to come up with an exact number.

Most Hugger Orange cars with tops had black tops vs white tops, about a 7:1 ratio.

I looked at the percentage color chart and since it covers all camaro models do you think the Z28's fell in line with these percentages?  It would be cool to know what the Z28 color percentages were as apposed to the whole lot.

Probably pretty close.

Just some additional info - I have a garnet red rally sport 69 Z w/ a white vinyl top. White stripes. I have not seen another 69 exactly like it. Have seen one in Jerry's book that is a 68.
