Title: 67 & 68 STD INTERIOR VINYL THE SAME?
Post by: duntov3030 on March 15, 2009, 12:29:35 PM
I searched the topics and didn't see this one so I'll ask.  Are the oem standard interior seat covers the same for 67 and 68 Camaro, same vinyl, same grain, etc?  I'm looking for a nice set of 67 std. covers, can't find them, but there are 68 covers available.  Thanks

Butch -

I don't know what the difference is, but the Chevrolet P&A has different part numbers for the '67 standard interior seat covers vs. the '68 standard interior seat covers.  The part numbers are different from year to year for every color (black, red, gold, blue, etc.) seat cover.

Original '67 std seat covers do have a finer grain than '68's.

Thanks Paul & Jerry.  I thought there was a subtle difference, just didn't know what it was.  I'll keep looking for a nice set of '67 originals.  Take care, Butch
