Title: did 68 MO blocks have 2 or 4 bolt main caps?

As a general rule, no '68 small-blocks had 4-bolt caps, 302 or otherwise. The 4-bolt blocks didn't appear until 1969. Hope this helps.

 MO would be the engine code stamped on the block for 67 and 68 302's.

MO would be the engine code stamped on the block for 67 and 68 302's. 

In 1967 "MO" was the engine application suffix code for 302s without smog.     ;)

In 1968 all 302s where stamped "MO".
