Title: TPI in a 68 RS
Post by: OL SCHOOL on January 26, 2009, 10:40:51 PM
I just put a tuned port 305 in my 68 rs and its coupled with a 700r4. I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas on an air cleaner set up. it has a mass air sensor so I cant just put an air filter on the front of the intake. Thanks for your help.

If you need clearance, you can get a elbow to connect the MAF sensor. there are a number of tpi specialty vendors around. If you have room, connect the MAF to the front of the intake, and put a filter on front of that.

There was a vette air cleaner with two filters that went over the rad and picks up cold air from in front. very low profile. I am looking to fab a duct from outside my lights and connect the intake from the side through an elbow.
