Hi all...
I've been poking around on the site looking for the info on converting the drum spindles to disc. I found info but the amount of metal to remove from the top boss on the spindle does not seem to be an exact measurement. The last one I read was, take off about .610 of an inch The info also said that you can use a hack saw and grind it flat. Seems to me that it should be a machine shop job so there are no un even surfaces for the caliper bracket mounting.
Has anyone done this? I'd like to hear from you!
Thanks, Joe

Just download it (right-click, "save picture as"), and you can do whatever you like with it.

Or link directly to it here:

Drum spindle to disc modification.
The easy way to do this is to bolt-on a stock caliper bracket to one of the bottom steering arm holes and rotate it up to the top boss and remove what's in the way.
