That is a question we all would like to know but there isnt any numbers with option combinations like rs/ss or rs/z/28, all that is noted is how many rs cars were built,ss cars and z/28 cars. There is a formula some say going by a average but nobody knows for sure. ??? I would like to know too as i also have a rs z

Awesome car. I really like the gold and black color combination.

Years ago, one of the Camaro myths was that they did not make a Rally Sport Z. In fact when I bought mine in 1982, one of my "friends" called to tell me that my car couldn't be a real Z because they didn't make Rally Sport Z's. I've also been told that it couldn't be a Z because it has no factory tach or gauges. My recollection of the late 60's (I was 14) was that you didn't see all that many Z/28's even when they were new. Seem like you saw a ton of SS 396 Chevelles though. Sure don't any more.
One car I do remember seeing was a 69 Trans Am Firebird which I'd see headed home from work just about everyday in rush hour traffic. White with the Blue spoilers or fender flares. I've have not seen one since, not even at any car shows. Shows how rare a car with a production of 600 or so really is.
