Hi,
Have discovered (not surprised) that there is great knowledge in this forum :)
As some of you may noticed, I'm putting a L48 engine together for my SS350 Camaro.
I solved the problem of air cleaner and valve covers, thanks to this forum.
Now I need help with Intake Manifold and Carburator.
Does anyone know which Intake Manfold it should be, what type and number?
And Carburator, can anyone confirm that Quadrajet 4MV with ChevyNumber 7016923/ Id 7029203DY is correct?
Thanks guys,
GUS

The correct intake manifold for a 1969 Camaro with a L48 engine is a cast iron unit with the casting number of 3927184. Here's one that recently sold on Ebay...

Don't forget to get one with a casting date that works for your car. :)

As for the carburetor, have you read Ed Bertrand's first generation Camaro carburetor report? Here it is...

Hope this helps! :)

Thanks Paul
Where can I find info about the intake manifolds?
Is the White Book about Camaros, a book of info and facts about numbers and stuff?
It could be useful to know if it's same manifold in other cars or on other engines, or if it's only on this engine.
Thanks
