Can someone help me decode this plate. I am confused one part of the plate says that it is a 1967 but some parts of the plate are only available for 1969???
Thanks
-
Its a march of 69 plate, says its a hugger orange convertible with a white top and a big block engine.
-
what else can you tell from the plate? b/c i might buy the car? Is the color popular?
-
Orange is one of the most popular and sought after colors today as it was the most popular color back in 1969. They made many hugger orange cars and used them in the chevy ads. It was called the hugger because the cars suspension would hugg the road. VERY nice conv. with big block also very nice. What color interior?? Word to wise use this site and obsorb as much info you can. There are many members who know just about everything about these first gen cars. They have been very helpfull with me in the past.
-
ok here is the problem the car is a 1969, orange, SS, convertible.
And the guy only wants 14k and it is in amazing condition apparently no rust, 4speed,all the ins and outs, however I am unable to see it in person so I do not know if it has any underling falts. The engine has only 100miles on a rebuild. Top is in great condition. What is your opinion?
-
I would post some more pics on this site and get some opinions. Personally 14 grand for a 1969 convert. 4 speed big block even if a clone is a good buy, but try to get as many pics as you can. Engine stampings etc. If the car is what it is it will be great great buy. Where is it listed or maybe you should not tell HA HA good luck. Sounds like very low money for a 69 Camaro SS

I you have gmail go here it is over 142 pics. Of an amazing car...http://picasaweb.google.com/usualterms/1969ChevyCamaroSS# (http://picasaweb.google.com/usualterms/1969ChevyCamaroSS#)

Pretty sporty for $14K. Be careful

Pretty sporty for $14K. Be careful
He means too much car for the money. There's way to many scam artists just waiting to take your hard earned $.
Is it to good to be true?
-
After taking a second look it has to be a scam. Think about it.
-
I agree. Price way too low for a big block convertible. Something's fishy. Have you contacted Jerry MacNeish about the car? He can tell you a lot from the pictures. One thing I noticed is that the front end seems to be sitting too low.
-
Ok I will email him.
-
If the car is real, and the owner can prove he *owns* it... I'd give 14K for it tomorrow based onthe photos *S*

I mean I do not have access to the hidden vins.
-
OK, to anwser you question, it's a great deal don't waste anymore time, buy it ASAP.
-
If it's as nice as it sounds, the parts shoild be worth more than the price.
-
that is why i am cautious. The emails I have recieved have also been a little suspicious...
-
Don't be stupid - it's a scam.
Tell the guy you want to look at the car in person.
Bet he won't let you.
-
There is absolutely NO WAY that it's only $14K..... SCAM... Run away.
-
Didn't see the vin in the photos. Post the vin number here, someone here may recognize it.
