Title: Tall front bumper guards?!
Post by: hgger69 on November 05, 2008, 10:06:01 AM
How can I know for sure that my 69 X44 came with large front bumper guards??
Cause I´ve been wondering about two mysterious holes that I thought every 69 has in the front sand plate, but now I guess theese are for mounting the large guards?!

How can you se that theese holes are drilled from factory or home made??

What else were includeed in the option G31??

Those holes were factory-drilled for the lower attachment of the RPO V31 Front Bumper Guards; if V31 wasn't ordered, there were no holes. G31 was Special Rear Springs and the tall rear bumper guards with the rubber inserts, which was included in the Z/28 package.

Thanx for quick answer John!!
...but I could be possible that a X44 had this option you think?? ...or is it more likely they have been mounted as an after market option??

V31 Front Bumper Guards were available on any Camaro, except those with the VE3 painted front bumper.
