Title: Gratitude
Post by: Sauron327 on October 31, 2008, 11:15:20 PM
This is to extend a large measure of gratitude to John Z. I have read his data and papers written on the subject of timing and vacuum advance. With his consultation, his VA Can recommendations and tuning parameters, I have greatly improve performance.
I post this on open forum not for the regulars who are aware of John's knowledge, but for those who are new and to value his advice. Acquisition of his knowledge in past posts and in the future is an understated asset.
Thanks again John. Today's ride with the update was exhilarating.
                                                                                               Scott

We are VERY lucky to have him interested in the cars even after 40 years... most of the knowledge that of "the guys who were there" usually ends up passing with them... fortunately John has taken an interest after the fact!

There are many very knowledgable people on this site, but only a handful that I trust to be correct 100% of the time.  John Z is one of them.

John is a VERY knowledgable with fantastic experiences and work history to lean on, but what makes him stand out from others is his commitment to helping others..  without pay...  or compensation.  I think he sees it as 'giving back'..   :) .  If there is a 'car heaven', John will surely be there !

Many times JohnZ has come to my aid in figuring out exactly what the heck I find in my stash..  I gotta frustrate him to no end, but, he has always come through big time.
Still say you and another lad from the Board, a  CN Norton or something close to that "moniker" should sit down and pen a book..  Just might sell a few copies and give us all hours 'n hours of delicious reading..  Thanks John!!!  Ted.

John is also a 'thread killer'...     once he has weighed in on a subject/topic, there is very little left to say!  His information is usually the 'bottom line'!    :)     I'm very proud to know him CPRL and from Vetteheads!  and now from TC and CRG!
