Hi All.
I need your help decoding a car please ...I looked at charts and am novice, so unsure of what's right Needs total restore, yet interesting in appearance as it sits....or they are deceiving. It is a fathom green coupe with black vinyl top and black interior. Has SS emblems, albeit not on steering wheel. SS hood. engine and trans gone. Heater hose inlets on firewall come straight out, so was this a big block...396? Has 4 speed console and instruments. RS trim. Has 327 emblem on right front fender. Has skads of options, like folding rear seat, rear defroster, tilt, deluxe interior.
Cowl tag reads like this:
ST 69 12437 LOS 146961 (assume Los Angeles production)
TR 712 69 B
ACC M304
What was and is this car? Thanks in advance for your help.

SS emblems and 327 emblems? They can not both be original. There were no SS 327's. Original drivetrain would be helpful even if the motor is blown. Without documentation it has become difficult to verify what it came with. All of the SS parts can be purchased and transplanted.
For help, post photos of the tags, any stampings, left frame rail where dual exhaust would be mounted, fuel line(s), etc. there is a ton of knowledge on this site, and many who will help you.
What is the VIN number, many have been documented in the past, and are known.
Where is the car?
