Thought I would shares some pictures of a Rally Green 1969 RS we have just restored over here in New Zealand.
We bought it in from the USA at the beginning of the year, the previous owner had pulled it apart to repaint in the 1990's and never got around to finishing it.
We did a bare metal respray and replaced suspension bushes and fitted a NOS exhaust and a few minor things.
Has come out nice.

I'm sure you've been told, that's a beautiful car. I wish I had found a rally green car before purchasing my blue car. Nice job, now send our car back to the U.S.A. Just kidding. Congatulations

I thought someone one here would know where the car came from.
Needed to come over here to get back up and running, you guys had it for over a decade, doing nothing! ;)
But considering the NZ/US exchange rate has just plummeted and the price the BJ Z28-RS got, I might be tempted to send it back.
If anyone has more info on the car it would be appreciated, we know a lot of history but not everything.
This site has been very helpful for research and some of the tricker bits and is appreciated.

Yes a race car I have had my eye on for a number of years came up for sale last month, so the Camaro needs to be sold. We have been taking it to a few classic car shows and a fun run or two. Attracting a lot of attention and I reckon it is the nicest sounding V8 around. Hopefully it will go to a US collector but it will cost pretty much the same wherever in the world we send it. Looking at E-Bay prices at the moment seems things are pretty tough over there at the moment.

Ha Ha - not this time :)
Exchange rate has started coming back. Seems like the US economic climate is limiting purchasers. Might have to go back in storage for a while.
However serious offers will still be considered.
Had some comments that I am dreaming on price, but I think it is fair, what do you guys think.
