Hey guys,
I am looking for a correct Quadrajet for my 69 Camaro SS350 with a build date of 04C. I believe any of the following part numbers would be correct:
70292 with the second to last number being a (0,1, or 2), and the last number being any even number (0,2,4,6, or 8). Is this correct?
So my final question is how many days approximately before the build date was considered correct? I am guessing a date code of roughly 0909 thru 1119. Is that correct?

Okay, here is an additional question if anyone can help me. I have a 69 Pace Car that is all original except for the carb. It has a 1970 carb on it. I found a Rochester Quadrajet for sale that has the correct part number for my pace car (7029202). However the date code is 0231. If I am decoding this correctly, the 4th number on both should be the same. The 9 would refer to the year (1969). So how is it I have a 69 Quadrajet with a build date that looks like the 23rd day of 1971?

Service replacement, made in 1971. That same part number carb had many other Chevy applications in addition to Camaro.

Have a couple of these carbs that are just 29202 instead of the usual 70 primaries...
Why??? I looked 'em up and they are good numbers for Chevelle / Chevy II and Maros..
sdkar, what are the good Julian dates for you??
