Title: Question about Chrome Trim around tail lights on a 69...
Post by: 77thor on October 06, 2008, 05:02:44 PM
It looks like the previous owner of my 69 Camaro (non-RS) used black RTV to attach the chrome trim around the tail lights, and now it's starting to come off.
What type of glue should be used for this??
I don't want it coming off while I'm driving and losing any pieces.

Thanks
Fred

Try 3M structural epoxy. It's super strong and reasonably flexable. Good temp. range. Clean all parts well, maybe glass bead the back of the stainless....

Good Luck
