Title: tailpan seam sealer usage?

So my 69 Camaro is in the shop for final paint.  Does the seam sealer between QTR and tailpan extend all the way to the bottom?  Or does it end behind the bumper? If so, where does it end?

On my original '69, the sealer stops about 2" below the bottom edge of the bumper on both sides, where the horizontal feature line curves and crosses the joint.
