I´ve read some topics here on the CRG regarding hood insulation and Z87 option but I´haven´t seen any complete list of what Z87 really consists of?
I´ve also looked through my sales brochurs from 1969 and they never mention hood insulation under the option "Custom interior"
This is what I can read from them:
Custom interior includes: special body insulation, molded door panels , carpeted lower door panels, assist grips on doors and instrument panel, rich wood-like éffect on intr. panel and steering wheel, bright pedal trim, glove compartment light and luggage compartment mat.
Questions to asked:
- What kinda insulation under hood were original in this option 1969? Molded or not? Can I buy one from CI with confidence for an example?
- What option included trunk and hood light??

- What option included trunk and hood light??
The trunk and underhood light were only available as part of the ZJ9 Auxiliary Lighting package, which had to be ordered separately - it wasn't included in any other option.

OK, thanx John!
That means that I probably have that option when I have Custom interior and courtesy, ash tray, glovebox and trunk light? ! ;)
..but back to my question above..molded or not ??
