Title: 1968 camaro (BIG BLOCK?)
Post by: ironpocket on July 20, 2008, 03:28:37 PM
I have found a 68 that the previous owner says was an original big block car. It has a 12 bolt rear and a turbo 400 trans as well as disc brakes. No engine. How can i verify if this was an original big block? Please email me @

jacrog@ekyol.com

if you can be of any assistance.

Thank you

Do the trans and rear appear original to the car? Look here for more info: http://www.camaros.org/drivetrain.shtml#TransmissionNumbers

Where are the heater core connections located?  Does it have it's original radiator?  Look here for other clues...  http://www.camaros.org/diffs68.shtml

Post a picture of the fuel line.
It contains a clue
3/8" single with BB specific termination.

Details avail in the Assy Manual.
