Welcome to this site, COflyer67. Guess I'm it for the welcoming committee?...Been on here for a week or so, and haven't heard from a soul, myself. So, thought to take the time to say Hi!
I too have a vert, with much the same set up, but a '68 and an auto, with three on the tree... was a special order...which I don't intend to change.
Take care,
CanCam

Hi again and welcome, I too have a vert however it's a 69. Lot's of great talk and help on this site. Sometimes pretty quiet then it seems to all break loose. Hang in there and you'll get what you need. 69 Houdini

In addition to the US assembly plants, many hundreds (if not several thousands) of Camaros were assembled by at least four overseas factories: the Yutivo factory in the Philippines (the subject of a CRG research article), GM Continental in Belgium, GM Suisse in Bienne, Switzerland, and a little-known assembly plant in Caracas, Venezuela. The last three factories remain objects of continuing CRG research, and if you have information on any of these facilities, or cars built at them....I have information on 4 1967/68 Camaros with GM FRANCE homogolation/ID plates, indication that GM France modified these cars in the France GM plant. Did GM France assemble CKD pkgs in France ??

I'd be interested to see the info, but the VIN's on the French-tagged cars that I've seen indicate they were not assembled in France.

Welcome!!! sounds nice

Welcome aboard.

Hold on. Didn't all L30/M20 have the 12 bolt rear end? You both have a 10 bolt? I dont' have any of my books with me to double check.

Check it out on the rear ends being 10 or 12's.

..Whats" EARLY STYLE 1/4 panels"..?? ...Never heard of that before..?? whats that all about.?
-
Well then how about this part of the explination on 12 bolt in the L30/M20. Is it saying there is still confusion. I have the 12 bolt in mine that has the correct serial number. ???
We may need to start a whole new post on the L30/M20.

Maybe this will help.....
From CRG:
"Quarter panel styles: There appear to be 3 types of 1967 quarter panels that are distinguished by appearance in the door jamb area. The "early style" jamb includes a stamped indentation, in the shape of a conventional telephone handset, surrounding the door latch pin. The "middle style" includes this "telephone" shaped impression, but adds to it 5 small indentations that are in a vertical column near the leading edge of the jamb. The "late style" jamb is like the "middle style", including the 5 vertical indentations, but the top portion of the telephone-shape impression is partially truncated. The early-to-mid transition occurs around November/December. The mid-to-late transition seems to be in March/April."

Thanks for the clarification on the early 10 bolt vs 12 bolt. I had not caught on to that part before. My build is June '67.
