Title: 1968 z/28 front calipers
Post by: john302 on June 10, 2008, 01:47:24 AM
I just removed my calipers to send out and get sleeved. The left outer is dated 188 left inner 249 , right outer 254 right inner 188. The car is a 12d build date. These calipers same way earlier. What should I do ? find another pair or go with these? The calipers look like they have been on the car since 1968.Thanks John

Use them as long as they are before the build date of the car which they are.

John -

Take a look at this CRG thread...  http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=2792.0

The julian dates of the front brake calipers on my 02C '68 Z/28 are listed there for comparison.     :)
