Title: cowl bolts

was the windshield cowl bolted onto the car before painting making the bolts the same color or was the cowl painted and bolted on with coated screws?

I didn't search this for you because when I go to one topic and then try to go back, the page times out on me.  But if you want, you can use the search function at the top left and I think this has been discussed before.  Also, at the top right corner under the red CRG box, you can go there and you'll find the 1st gen assembly process etc.  Good info there.

The cowl was painted and bolted on with 1/4' head silver zinc screws.  Washer nozzles and screws too.

 Jerry, thanks for the info. the new bolts came that way and I wondered if I had to paint them.  again thanks  Pete
