Post by: john302 on May 26, 2008, 02:24:19 AM
Removed the original plug wires from an original 68z tonight and I found something interesting. The car was built 07c some of the plug wires were the second quarter and some the third.Has anyone ever seen this before? The car is a low mileage super original untouched car.The intake was never removed or anything else.  John

Plug wires weren't supplied in "car sets" - they came from Packard Electric as individual wires, each with their own part number, as shown in the Assembly Manual, and each part number wire was thrown in a bin adjacent to the line; depending on when the next box of wires was put in the bin, the ones that were on the bottom when the bin was refilled could sit in the bin for a LONG time.
