Does any know the correct length of a speedometer cable for a 1967 Camaro 396 4 speed? Thanks in advance.

Are there different lengths than a standard muncie 4 speed car? 350 vs 396.

Depends on the transmission - the Muncie cable went through the firewall ajdacent to the wiper motor to the passenger side of the transmission, and all others (3-speed, Saginaw 4-speed and automatics) went through the firewall below the fuse block to the driver's side of the transmission.

So there is no difference from a small block or big block car?

Nope - the transmission, not the engine, determined the length of the speedo cable.

Would you now the length of the cable ?

Is this info not able to be found? I forgot about this post and can't believe nobody answered it.
