Title: BU 12 bolt date code - HELP!
Post by: Flowjoe on May 14, 2008, 08:25:26 PM
I was double checking the date code on this axle (I had always interpreted it as a '68) and my eyes are playing tricks...is it a year code of 8 or 9?

I read it as D 25 8 or 9...large file warning:

I agree - I'd call it a "9"; configuration of the bottom half of the character is different than an "8".

Thank you also for the input Jerry.

Now the next question:  Is this a good fit for an 05A Norwood built car?
