Title: PITMAN ARM INTERCHANGE

Is a 1969 camaro manual steering box pitman arm interchangeable with a '68-69 camaro power steering box?

I think that you'll find that the output shaft on the ps unit is larger that the one on the manual steering.  If  you're installing ps on your Camaro,  you'll need a new pitman arm to match the larger output shaft.   Same goes for the rag joint.  The input shaft of the ps unit is larger than the manual as well.  I went with the longer pitman arm.  Really quickens up the steering.      J.R.
