Title: Site updates
Post by: KurtS on March 20, 2008, 06:45:49 AM
I've spent some time and finished updating most of the info pages on the site. I continued the conversion from the FAQ format to an indexed format. That should help make the info on those pages more accessible.

Engine, options, exterior, and interior pages all got major revisions.
Exterior got new paint color estimates and interior now has interior color estimates too!

Please let us know if you see any errors. I already see a minor format error......  :o

Kurt,

Everything seems to be working in tip top order.  Only thing I noticed since the ISP thing is the CRG icon no longer displays in the title bar or next to link in "Favorites"  "Not service affecting" but thought I just let you know if you haven't noticed it.  Running XP/IE7

Thanks for all work you guys put into this site for my pure enjoyment!   ;D

I'm not familiar enough with that function to comment other than to say I have XP/IE7 and it still works fine for me!  ???

It does not affect anything at all and has no function.  If you look in the address bar, before http://www.camaro.net you (at least I do) will now see just a page looking thing with the IE7 icon in it.  That IE7 icon used to be the CRG icon.  Go to TC and look at it there, it has their icon.  I just noticed because I just used to look for the CRG icon in my "Favorites" and it disappeared after the ISP thing.  No big deal, and not being picky, just letting you know!

Thanks Kurt!

I know exactly what you are talking about, but it's still there on my computer!
I'm not sure how it is generated, but I assume it requires some code since many sites don't use the feature.

The mini icon is a special formatted file that is on the site that your browser picks up, or should.  Should have nothing to do with the forum issue.  You might need to do a refresh on your browser; it is somehow confused.

OK, mine too...

Back to topic:  Kurt, thanks a million for the color estimates.  After all the guff I've taken over butternut yellow, it's great to see there was plenty out there (and probably painted red by now).
It's great when you share data from the CRG database like that!  I've spent three hours pouring through your updates!
 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I already see a minor format error......  :o

Would that be the extra % symbol in the Exterior Color Use Estimate Chart (Tuxedo Black row/'69 model year)?     :)
