How far apart are the dates usually apart on heads, intake, and block for a '68 camaro?

Im trying to find the correct intake.

They are usually grouped with-in 2 days to 3 weeks prior to the engine assembly date... some blocks have been found to have the same assembly date as casting date...

.......and there are always the exceptions.

The 327 in my '69 (not original to my car, but out of another '69 Camaro) has an engine block cast date of J318 (October 31, 1968) and an assembly date of 1122 (Nov 22).

Small production items are also out of the norm... they seem to have been cast in batches... like 512 blocks...
