Did 68's come with snaps for the boot cover for convertible tops? I posted a similar msg in another thread, but need a definitive answer as I'm having hard time finding replaccment moldings.
Here's a picture of my moldings that have snaps:

No snaps. Convertible boots were held on by clips. And if you want to have a whole bunch of fun, try putting these d@&! things on!!!

no snaps.there are some repros available on the market, but they are not as "good" as the originals.and yes they are tricky to installed.best with the top off the car.

I have a 1967 convertible with the same snap rail. I want to replace the boot but have been unable to locate a place to purchase. The clip style replacement boots are about $60.00, but from what I understand the clips have a tendency to rub on the paint. So if anyone knows who sells the boots with snaps please let me know. Dan,
The stock (and replacement) clips are indeed a pain in the butt. Any good upholstery shop should be able to fix you up with a boot attached with snaps.

Thanks for the info. I was trying to save a buck but it looks like I'll have to have one made.
