Title: muncie handle

Did all 68 muncie 4 speed handles recieve a " T " stamped in it along with the muncie stamp and what does it meen?

anyone, I just bought a original shifter and there is no "T" on the handle but stated it was an original, only muncie stamp.

I am the original owner of my 68 and it has the original Muncie still in it.  I took a quick look at it and I do not see a "T" on either side of the handle near the stamped "Muncie".  If someone told you that the 68 handles had a "T" in them then maybe there was a change in stampings by Muncie sometime during 1968......my car is an 06A build.

I have several original shifters, some with the T, some without, some with MUNCIE and some without. I have at least one of each of the 4 possible combinations.

Interesting.  Are all of them out of Camaro's?  If so do you know the year(s)?
