Would a A-7-9 V0124DZ be close enough to a to a O-2-C car?
Car came with a V0509DZ looking to get back to correct date codes during current restoration.
Thanks

A January 24th-built engine in a third week of February car would be no problem in my book.

Can I get a picture of the pad stamps for those two blocks? :)

Kurt,
The 1st pic is the one I have sorry for the lousy pic.
Ill take another and posi it this weekend.
It is also stamped rebuilt by Bob Dutra on the pad.
2nd is the one for sale.
The stamp looks a little too deep to me.

Can't see the first one, and the second one is a restamp.
-
The ebay block is a restamp. Here's a larger picture.

Got a little suspicious when he told he could stamp my vin# n the oil filter boss and that was perfectly acceptable with most people.
To bad for me I have been looking for a early Feb. DZ block or complete engine for some time now.
The search goes on.

A better pic of 1st stamp.
