Title: DOOR SILL QUESTION
Post by: 70lt1z28 on February 10, 2008, 12:13:13 AM
although there are a few types of repop carpet sills out there, i have a question about 2 of them. the type in question are the ones made with the rivits in place for a 1969  camaro. Ground up sells them with aluminum color rivits and i have also seen them with black rivits. the ones with black actually look like they were painted right along with the body by fisher embelm. which is correct?? thanks in advance

My originals have blackish rivets, but the rivets are NOT painted. Haven't seen the repros, so I don't know how they're made.

the emblem is glue down on some of the repro's with fake rivets. i found a set in the trunk of my car when i brought it. they are as thin as tin foil
