Title: 1968,1969, small block 4 spd clutch return spring and extension rod

does anyone know what the correct plating is for the clutch return spring and the extension rod it attaches to ?  z/28s have the long skinny rod and other small block sticks . bare steel , grey phosphate?  thanks john
