Title: Do BB and SB radiators use the same mounting holes?
Post by: tgifford5 on December 31, 2007, 01:33:08 AM
I have a 69 camaro with a SB in it.  I see the BB radiators are a bit larger but am wondering if the two radiators use the same mounting holes?  Or do BB's use a different core support?

There are two sets of mounting holes on the drivers side of the core support.  The small block radiator bolts to the pair closest to the large opening in the core support, the big block radiator bolts to the pair that are further fron the opening.  Both radiators bolt to the same pair of holes on the passenger side.

If the radiator and block are clean (inside), the SB rad should do more than adequate job of cooling.
