Was checking on line for Z10's for sale and found one in Hemmings that it was a documented number matching L78 375hp 396 ! This seems to be the only one found. The dealer said he had the build sheet with other paper work including name of orginal owner. Price was $300,000.00 or best offer. Then I found another in Hemmings that was a number matching 325hp 396 car for $135,000.00. Boy are these prices crazy ? I have a Z10 but it is not number matching & I am hanging on to it.My is also a big block car most of the Z10's were small blocks and from what I have found out total production is around 500 cars. Here is a pic of minehttp://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g89/z10paceman/Z10036.jpg

About 5 or 6 years ago, Their was an L78 car in a showroom in El Paso, TX. I believe I was told that the car once belonged to Bruce Willis. Real fuzzy on the rest of the details of the car, but I remember it looked very nice.
I too have a Z10 , small block car, which I'm the second owner. It's staying in the garage.
Merry Christmas,
Kris

G-r-e-a-t.... Sounds like the Barrett-Jackson crowd is jumping all over the Z10's. Another car that the working guys can forget about picking up. If these prices are real I'll be less likely to drive mine anywhere and leave it out of sight.

The former Willis L78 Z10 was exposed as a fake L78.

Really? It was a very nice looking car. Where is that car now and is the vin documented?

The car was mentioned in the ICC Newsletter May/June 1995; N637432. In TX at the time it was originally an L34 or L35.

I know of at least 2 L78 Z10's. I don't know of the L78 you mentioned on Hemmings and I can't find it online.
Yup, I'm confident in my 4-500 estimate. It might be a little higher, but I need more data first....
