As far as options, here's a good place to start:  http://www.camaros.org/pdf/options-rpo23feb00.pdf

Even GM cannot give you a definitive answer, because they did not keep those records.  You can start to narrow it down by options like Richard has suggested.  Maybe a better question is "How many 67 SS/RS L35s are in the CRG database?"  It will take someone from the actual CRG to answer that...

I have found it is better to break your larger question down into several smaller questions on any research site.  Generally, you find the answer through several answers.  Good luck, and welcome!  ;D

BTW, sounds like a great car!  Share more infromation about it and keep us posted on your restoration.  We love pictures and details!

We get this question all the time at CHP.  GM did not track multiple options on any given car.  The only reason GM tracked options at all was for statistics and sales to decide if they would continue to keep an option or drop it for the next model year.  Make sense?  This was the corporate thinking back then.

Not sure how many were made, but currently there are over 100,000 still in existence ... just go to a car show and look at all of the RS/SS 396s you'll find!  ;)
