Title: 1968 Camaro restoration
Post by: texasappraiser on November 19, 2007, 02:33:13 AM
I have owned my 1968 Camaro since 1989, and have rebuilt the engine/tranny, as well as had it painted its original color and added front/rear spoilers, as well as the correct GM 14x6 rallys over the years. The car is numbers matching w/82,000 miles, and I am considering a complete restoration as at this time in my life, money is not so much a problem as time is. I would like it restored by a shop that specializes in first generation Camaros, or at least F-bodies. I live between Houston/Austin, but would not be opposed to taking it to San Antonio or Dallas, or even somewhere else in Texas if needed, to be restored. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Lance in Brenham, TX.

Have you checked out Jeff Lilly Restorations?  I don't have any experience with them, but their work looks nice.
