Where the DX-1 stipes available all of 1969 production year? I'm looking at a 01B RS that has "Front Accent Striping" on the dealer invoice. I'm just wondering if they would have been the DX-1 or the SS type "hocky stick" stripe? The car is currently in primer.
Thanks,
Mike

Hockey stick would be standard for an SS. DX1 was not available for SS or Z. I think it could have been ordered on most other Camaro models. After attending shows for several years, I have not seen one yet. There was also supposed to have been a multi color nose stripe that I also have not seen.
What options does the car have?

Yes, it was available all year...

In 69, DX1 = 20479; D90 = 26729...
Tom is right, you don't see DX1 that often. I suspect that's more because of all the cloning and improper restoration.
Bt those numbers there ought to be plenty of them...

Tom,
I believe that multi-colored nose stripe was called the bumble-bee stripe. I've never seen one in the 27 years since I got the bug to restore my '69 SS.

The D88 multi-colored nose stripe was in 68. Zero production total.
There's a promo picture of it somewhere and it's in the AIM. We've seen one car with it but are not convinced it is original.

Does anyone know where I can get a DX1 decal for a model? I am putting a model together to see how the car might look when it is done.
