Post by: L78 steve on October 25, 2007, 05:00:28 PM
Does anyone have an opinion(s) on the repro Cowl Induction set-up?Quality and closness to original?I have a 69Z that all is left is the wire harness for the option and I want to reinstall the remainder. Steve.

I have installed them and they are pretty straight forward and not too hard.  Took less than two hours.  The most difficult part was changing the accelerator arm at the firewall...it is pretty tight.

Thanks,Steve for the reply. The throttle arm and wire harness are still in the car from the factory. All the other pieces are gone.Iv'e been asking around for the original pieces with no luck.I fear if I do locate the parts there likley to be pricy. So repro my be my only option for now.Are the repro.pieces obvious once installed?

Steves, here is my original comparison post on the ZL2 setup, it was redone with my permission in one of the Chevy Punch editions. Basically the breather tube and bottom ridge are the give aways.
