Title: TH350 shifter
Post by: camaromikey on October 12, 2007, 05:57:51 PM
Has anyone ever had trouble adjusting the shift cable on a TH350 with the horseshoe shifter? Whats happening is the transmission is going thru all the grears ok. It's just not going back into park. You can reach under the car and push the level on the transmission forward into park.

The linkage probably just needs to be properly adjusted. The procedure is the same as for Powerglide, except for positioning the trans lever in Drive. The adjustment procedure is in the assembly manual in section M35, sheet A9.5, and the procedure for positioning the trans lever in Drive on the THM350 is is section M38, sheet A7.
