Well, I finally bought my first camaro (with the help of everyone here on the forum). It's exactly what I was looking for. Anyway, my father in law needs a little help with a cowl tag. He doesn't have the vin# just yet, but i'll post all the info he gave me. Thanks for any help guys.

I suspect the R should be a 3, and would decode as follows. It doesn't make sence to me that the S would be a 2 but the R being a 3 does seem reasonable.
04C = Built the Third week of April.
67-12637 = Custom Interior Coupe.
LOS = Built in Van Nuys California.
765 = Custom Black Bucket Seats.
Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats (without headrests).
G-G = Car Color is Granada Gold
Options:
1W = (A02) Tinted W/S only
2M = (M35) Powerglide Transmission
2G = (D55) Console front compartment
3S = (Z23) Interior Decor group
3L = (Z22) Rally Sport Package
4P = (L48) SS 350
